What a way to spend Christmas Day....

Image
Cyrill, Jazzelle, and I made like Spidey and scaled a rocky wall at SM Southmall's SouthWall... :) It was my first time :) the guys there were cool and we were briefed on what to do... The first wall was easy, but got no motivation to reach the top of the 2nd wall, and in the end, only Jazzelle did it =D the 3rd wall's basically for experts so we didn't do it, plus, we only paid 50 pesos each for two climbs... cheap eh?? 50 pesos is equivalent to almost $2 in Brunei!!!! O_O We ate in McDonald's after that. Ohhhh, and before that I also bought Relient K's latest album, Five Score and Seven Years Ago ! Me is sooo happeee.... XD At last, after waiting for several months... :D

a random day in my life...

I awoke to the tantalizing aroma of Indo Mee Goreng... yummm. I decided to dodge taking a bath today... no plans of going out anyway. I changed my mind... I need a shower! you never know.. I was pleased to see mom leave for a few hours out.. I practically spent the whole afternoon in front of the laptop... I watched some TV as well.. Where's mom?? It's 7.30pm and I'm hungry! *raids the fridge for left-overs* Mom and dad comes home bringing some flowers ( for me?? no. it was for our house.) and tells me to get ready if I wanted to follow them to aunt Simone's (Davyson's mom) house... Arrived in her house. It's big and spacey! Uncle Anton and his wife Popy, Jenny, Mag, Jaz, kuya Jay soon follows after.. Aunt Simone's husband (i forgot his name) greets us and they pop a DVD in for a Brazilian Evangelistic/Christian concert experience... wow! I had brought my Bible and just realized we weren't gonna have Bible study, but rather a video presentation... 9.15p

Okay, okay... Joyce has been bugging me to blog. so here! heheh the truth is, i have been deprived of a pc in like, months since the church laptop was transferred from my care to sumi's. what about your own desktop pc at home, you ask? well, it's still lying dormant in the dining room, i soo cant wait to get rid of it and have some cash in exchange =) in the meantime, i've been goin to internet cafes about once a week just to check my email inboxes and friend networkings and stuff. i didn't wanna spend those times in blogging! At least i'm up and blogging now, with my dad's new laptop! FINALLYY. he came home with it yesterday. i've never sighed a huge sigh of relief. my internet-cum-online-ing-deprived days are over!! But wait, i don't seem that much in a celebratory mood for that reason. maybe it's because, in the past few months i've learned to be content and actually found out i can survive without going online within a few hours. i have bee

Massive strong winds last night. Trees collapsed (or at least decapitated... i saw a headless coconut tree) some signs and fences... and there's this house made of wood that's completely destroyed... omgsh.. i used to always pass by that house whenever i walked home from school.. the men there are creepy but yeah... haha. You know.. i find it very sad that i'm not able to blog regularly as i'd like... things are still pretty hectic around here... got good news tho.. i get to design the cover for my school's magazine/yearbook this year!! Who0o0o! I shall showcase them later.. apart from that, since i'm in the magazine committee, i have to do a whole load of other stuff (mostly design), my eyes are getting tired from staring at the pc screen often.. i feel stressed. Projects due too... D-maths done, mrs. "Ringgit" (code name) was ratting on me again...grrr. "Where's your project?? You haven't submitted!" "I already have. Ginny subm

Who am i?

Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth Would care to know my name, Would care to feel my hurt? Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star Would choose to light the way For my ever wandering heart? Not because of who I am; But because of what You've done. Not because of what I've done; But because of who You are... I am a flower quickly fading Here today and gone tomorrow A wave tossed in the ocean, A Vapor in the wind Still You hear me when I'm calling Lord, You catch me when I'm falling And You've told me who I am I am Yours, I am Yours... Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin, Would look on me with love and watch me rise again? Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea, Would call out through the rain And calm the storm in me? I am Yours Whom shall I fear Whom shall I fear 'Cause I am Yours I am Yours.

BUSY AS A BEE….

Image
Key events: Two thursday nights ago I got nothing to do during the p&w practice at Swiss (I finished doing the slides) so I followed Jascinta, Jason Brun ei (or we call him Jason Milk/Jason Pun/Pun-pun) and Jason JB (a.k.a. Kicap/Kookies/Ghost Clown... etc so many nicknames for him) to BSRC to watch Gana play in the football match. It was great although I didn't pay attention much cuz I was busy listening to my music lol but in the end his team won anyway by 3 - nil I think! Then on Saturday after yoof fellowship (don't need to explain ze details of the complications) we held a barbecue for ate Sheila my bum cuz she's leaving!! Well tech nically she' s transferring to Bandar so yeah... she's gonna be in the BTN Bandar branch since she'll be working in her dream school - the Expression School of Music (aunt Lily's school!) seriously man... that's one of the greatest music schools in Brunei... maybe even the best! Hehe but before that she'll be h

It's been crazy. Okay I just went blank and forgot what i wanted to blog about. Ok I do remember one thing... church service's been on sunday mornings lately... eversince we used Swiss hotel's 2nd floor. Gosh, I'm actually so blessed... not as much hassle in church life like lasttime where we used to scramble everywhere for a place... and Swiss hotel is blessed... they have no idea... So since church is in the morning, we have TIME in the afternoon! and the last few sundays that time was spent so lavishly... like after youth sunday, we went to Empire hotel with the youths from Johor Bahru, then the next sunday it was OGDC where we watched Spiderman 3, then the next a trip to Jerudong Park with my "yoofies" (what i call them), and last sunday it was back to bandar to see an exhibition (well there are always exhibitions!) at the Mall Cineplex. I got a 2gb mp4 for what.... 69 BUCKS!!! and hell, it looks a lot like an ipod nano i got fooled the first time i saw

Eventful May...

Hey all! Just droppin by for a quick update... see, it's been like 18 days since the youth concert, and lemme tell ya, it was a huge success! But I guess we couldn't have made an impact like we did if it wasn't for prayer... been praying earnestly for this event... man, i really wouldn't have wanted to be elsewhere that night!! I'd really like to give every little detail 'bout everything that happened, but... i'll try to make this short lol... I don't want to procrastinate blogging about the happenin events this month! The youth from Johor Bahru were awesome, can't tell you how much i and the others are blessed by them!! 8 of them from came, namely Crystal (who was the youth pastor), Crystaline (Ps. Benedict Rajan's daughter!), Samantha, Krisela (who actually came 2 days after the rest arrived and she's also the youngest, at 14 y/o of age), Sebastian (drummer and full-time youth leader man!), Jonathan (keyboardist), Athens (guitarist) and

"Made Perfect." By Three Cord Wonder The girl you see in the mirror isn't who I see When I look at you I see reflections of Me You don't like your face so you paint over My masterpiece You hide your face, so you hide My face and fail to believe... I made you the way that you would be most beautiful And I planned you way before the universe was born When you try to change yourself it only makes Me cry, I don't know why, you try to make better what I made perfect. You want more attention so you uncover your skin, just to fit in. You think boys are the answer, well, I was a boy once too and I love you more than they do. GO DOWNLOAD THIS SONG!!!!! Get it at http://www.myspace.com/threecordwonder . The band really made it free and available for download as a means to encourage others to spread God's love, as you can see in the lyrics... we are His masterpieces. Seriously, when I first heard this song I really cried... I hope you too would also get the reality of

Hey hey hey! What's been happening lately (as i remember it) : I went to AAC (Anthony Abell College) in Seria to compete in the badminton tournament... playing doubles with the other Hannah. It reeked though, because the event was all of sudden that teacher asked me to join and I had only practiced the previous friday! Man, Hannah and I were really nervous. We lost to Chung Hwa , of course, they're good and of course their badminton team training helped. Hannah and Auji actually had to take over a singles match that Fairuzah, Jamillah and Lidewena was supposed to play 'coz it turned out that you had to be less than 18yrs of age to play! Actually I knew Fai hadn't turned 18 but as teacher Irwan (yes! I saw tcher Irwan there! My form 1 class and history tcher lasttime! Whoooo! He is so funny.) it's the "Tahun. TAHUUUUN. TA-HUN!" lol and they were born in 1989. Anyways I didn't know about how the boys played in our team coz they competed the next day. M

Te Amo...

Skool waz great today! But i felt bad about something that happened.. don't need to say nymore... dint have the appetite to eat at lunch, so i just plunked on the couch and watched some tv... Mr. World to be exact. Aiiieeeee!! I never intended to watch it, thinking that it's gay.... ok well maybe the guys just look metrosexual that's all.. it puts me off a bit... anyway there wasn't anything else to watch so yeah. In the end, Mr. Spain won the crown trophy... no argument there... i mean if i could study any language it would be Spanish coz it's such a sexy language! 1st runner up... hmmm i think it was Mr. Brazil, followed by Mr. China, no comment there.... and speaking of Brazil, we gots a new classmate, Daviyson, who's from that country lol... i seriously never thought of it coz he doesn't look Brazilian, or it's my mistake if i dunno how Brazilians looked like hehehe. Anyhoo, one day during art lessons i went up to talk to him, quite amusing actual

Sports Day 2007

Image
Sports day last sat was great fun!! Definitely the best among the rest (??) coz it seemed more organized this year... I joined badminton (singles) and cheerleading . The former was actually held days before the actual sports day... it was real tiring man... i had to attend for 3 days... it was all held at the dewan bandaran hall... which is in town, which is just a stone throw's away from school... so yeah... jalan-jalan here and there... i first went on tuesday and after waiting for almost the whole afternoon and watching all the senior boys playing, the senior girls were informed to come back the next day coz it was almost evening... drat! Wasted afternoon. I did play the next day... against Wani... and to tell you the truth it sucked... even though i won 21 - 6, we dint really enjoy the game mainly coz we weren't used to all the badminton rules... such as about who's turn it is to serve, whether you should stand at the left or right side of the court according to your s

Celebrate the Victory

The enemy has been defeated And death couldn't hold You down We're gonna lift our voice in victory We're gonna make Your praises loud. Shout unto God with a voice of triumph Shout unto God with a voice of praise! Shout unto God with a voice of triumph We lift Your name up We lift Your name up This song always overwhelms me; with the His Spirit washing over me and empowering me like electric shocks. Goes to show that Jesus is alive and because of that satan can no longer hold authority over those who accept Christ. So forget the decorative eggs and easter bunnies... look into the real meaning of this special occasion. Happy Easter everyone :) P.s. It was a combined service with our BSB church this morning at Swiss hotel. I love having services there and we're looking into renting the place almost every Sunday. Ps. Tun's message was awesome! With clips from The Passion of the Christ. God's love is just beyond words...

La Extra-ordinaire....

Camp was awesome! This year the theme was " EXTRAORDINARY ".... and well, let that speak for itself! I went with Nosa and Osaze... a.k.a. Lah-lah and Oi-oi (long story lol!).... their driver brought us there... lol in a way coz he didn't know where Holiday Lodge Hotel at first, so we skimmed the map of BSB.... the Holiday Lodge Hotel there it said pink 13 in Jalan Jerudong, we seriously couldn't look for it... gaaahhh til finally i turned over the map and there i saw it! Lol it was gay. When we finally reached the place, instead of going into the hotel's parking lot, their driver pulled up at a house beside the hotel instead... well it's more of a real small hut actually and LOL! the irony! Their driver "Eddy" waz like, "Welcome to the Holiday Lodge Hotel!" and Osaze was like, "Well, this is a nice welcoming...." Gila! Then we registered and got into our rooms... we shared it with another girl called Hannah too! Hehe and it get

I'm blogging, I'm blogging, I'm blogging!

Whew! Blogger had a break around February so only drafts were allowed. Then this blog had to be reviewed for approval against anti-blogspam. So sorry if the entries came in late. Ummm I'm not gonna be long so here are ze bulletpoints again :- Youth camp starts tomorrow! And it's sad cos a lot of my yoofmates aren't goin cos they got work and all. I know Nosa and Osaze's definitely goin, they seriously enjoyed last year! And Jason's soooo available since he already finished form 5 so he has a loonnggg vacation til July I think. Haha I kept asking him last night but he always shrugs, "I dunno, I dunno" and that "all girls going waah... I don't want to go" ah, just for that reason! Not my fault if Gana is offshore and there are not many other boys in our yoofgroup. Moving on... anyways I reallay wanna bring Kala along... but it's probably too last minute. Louisa contacted me btw. But in the end I just received an sms from
