Eventful May...

Hey all! Just droppin by for a quick update... see, it's been like 18 days since the youth concert, and lemme tell ya, it was a huge success! But I guess we couldn't have made an impact like we did if it wasn't for prayer... been praying earnestly for this event... man, i really wouldn't have wanted to be elsewhere that night!! I'd really like to give every little detail 'bout everything that happened, but... i'll try to make this short lol... I don't want to procrastinate blogging about the happenin events this month!

The youth from Johor Bahru were awesome, can't tell you how much i and the others are blessed by them!! 8 of them from came, namely Crystal (who was the youth pastor), Crystaline (Ps. Benedict Rajan's daughter!), Samantha, Krisela (who actually came 2 days after the rest arrived and she's also the youngest, at 14 y/o of age), Sebastian (drummer and full-time youth leader man!), Jonathan (keyboardist), Athens (guitarist) and Jason (the sound system guy, haha). It was a blast havin them here... 5 days ain't enough la... they arrived wednesday, 9th May and the concert was 12th May, so as you can see we only had 2 days of rehearsals together! But those 2 nights spent rehearsing at Swiss hotel were great, it kinda felt like camp lol, 'cause on thursday night KB town experienced black-out, but i think it was only for an hour... but heck, still fun la...

Sunday afternoon after morning service, we all yoofs went to Empire hotel to just jalan-jalan la.. but we didn't really go round the pools and artificial beach 'cause we hung out most of the time at one side... i don't know what's it called but it was actually my first time goin to that particular part.. but there were a LOT of photographers there busy snapping away either at the scenery or a couple of models we saw... haha well you can always find photographers in Empire... of course.. i have photographed quite a number of that place myself ;) anyways, the weather was wonderful... sunny and breezy... we relaxed sitting on the rocks and chattin away... i also went down with some others... it really smelt of salty sea there lol...

After that we went back to KB and had MAKAN at the churchouse... *burp* stuffed myself silly that time... the JB youth really enjoyed the food hehe... then we kinda played a game together, i'm not sure what's it called but in it the winner would slap the arms of the rest of the losers.. lol anyway when i won, i suggested puffing powder on the losers' faces instead so I did, then Samantha pulled out her lipstick in suggestion haha! At this point the boys were desperate to win and John did, so he drew on all our faces with the lipstick!! Haha it was fun but then it was skool the next day so i had to leave early, it was sad coz i wanted to bond with them somemore...

Next day they all left for JB... but guess what!! JASON STAYED BACK. Lol i couldn't believe the news when Sumi informed me on MSN... i was like, "don't tipu la" but she waz serious! He did stay back! I thought that it was great, at least you know, it sorta "eases the hurt" and pain of havin the JB youth leave... so yeah if you get what i mean. Like a souvenir la.. lol

THEN... MORE GREAT NEWS!! The JB youth had really missed Brunei, they've practically fallen in love with it... so they're coming back. I think John, Sebas, the rest of the team will be coming around 2nd week of June, Crystaline would be coming along whenever her dad would come to minister here and she'd being her 2 sibs, 1 sis and 1 bro (who is Malay and adopted!). Then again planning to come around August, for a whole month! I heard they're gonna hold a seminar... so yeah... I’M EXCITED!!!!

More than....

Now that's settled, what am I gonna do during the hols? Owh I wanna get my bike fixed. It's been months since I last cycled... OH that time when Shee Wai called me up and we cycled together (we were planning to since we found out we live quite near each other) and we like, went around town.... and when we went into St. John's... there were these wunks hanging around there... and one of them called out, "Hey Shee Wai! Your dress so big!" so I was like thinking, Shee Wai's not wearing a dress . But anyway, she was really quiet, which is not usually her. Then we got back to my house and we exchanged songs for our mp3 and then Shee Wai wanted to take me to the hospital so we cycled there. Hahaha. She brought me to the mortuary. So quiet... while we were pedaling through, the chains on my bike suddenly broke! It was soo freaky. We were gonna use the gate on the other end, but it was closed so we had to go back again. I was just thinking about this chapter, when the disciples came up to Jesus and asked what were the signs of the end of age. This was part of what He replied: "Watch out that no one deceives you.
