It's online pre-enrollment week.  i managed to get a really good sched! Whoo. Studying my flowchart really helped :D  It took me a quite a while to pick the different sections and make sure that they don't collide.  So my classes for next term are basically: ALGEB-X = College Algebra INTECOM = Intro to Economics w/ Agrarian Reform & Taxation PHILOMA = Philosophy of Man FILIP13 = Retorika RECONSE = Religion and its Contemporary Search for Self WORLITE = World Literature The first three are on MWF 8-11:30am. The last three are on TTH 1-6pm. Not bad, eh? ^___^ Bring on SchoolYear 2009-2010!! i kinda can't wait to bully the freshmen coming in >:D

New term, new campus!

So far, the 1st week of my 2nd term was getting tedious. Heck, i already wanted the term to end on the 3rd day ;P Here are my classes: Dynarel = Dynamics of Religion Comsk2 = Communication Skills 2 (postrequisite of Comsk1) Filip12 = Filipino 2 (postrequisite of Filip11) Insocio = Introduction to Sociology PE-1 = Physical Education 1 Natsca = Human Factors in Design Ordev-B = Orientation & Development of Values (postrequisite of Ordev-A) My schedule is quite loose considering i have half-day both tuesdays and fridays (tues p.m., fri a.m.), quarter day on Monday (?? like um, until 9.10am only!) and almost 5hrs in between classes on thursdays! whew! guess i'll be doing a lot of my "homework" in school now! My wednesdays are packed, with a 3-hour Natsca class (groan...) Another downside is that my earliest class starts at 7am! while my latest class ends at almost 6pm! yikes! rush hour! =_= The sad thing is that i kinda miss seeing my old classmates; we seriously h...

Goodbye, Oh-Eight.

Looking back throughout the year, i can't help but get a tad bit emotional. Not oh-i-wanna-cut-myself emotional, but the positive one. I just really can't express how absolutely GRATEFUL i am... from the beginning of this year thinking i'd do my 'O' levels, to the unexpected drop-out soon after and just the whole sudden turn of events mid-year... it was a bittersweet memory. i took the time to appreciate everyone and everything - a couple of months is good enough - so i wouldn't leave too hard-hearted... shifting from small town to big city life.. wow... i looked into the bright side so i would get excited as well... then applying for college... i so remember cramming in for the entrance exam... lol... but all went perfectly smooth and i got in, i guess, my "dream" college here in Philly (i've considered Asia Pacific College... but nothin' beats DLS-CSB now that i'm there! XD) i've met great people, with whom i am continually amazed by...

Thank God that it was just a HOAX. Whew! Filipino Twilighters can breathe now.~ *** If you've no idea what i'm talkin' about, READ THIS ARTICLE. My bro showed it to me... i totally freaked, of course. To quote: " ...if there is one country in the world that has a terrible reputation for ripping off huge moneymakers and making cheap remakes of hollywood blockbusters , it would have to be the Philippines ." " will someone hand me the sick bucket please? Pinoy tv already ruined Gossip Girl by creating Lipgloss. They shouldn't even think of destroying twilight too. NO. NO. NOOOOOOOO! Even the book's move adaptation din't do so great, what makes them think they can pull it off as a tv series? ambitious much?" Haha. I'm not tryna degrade my own race but things like this just annoys me to no end. i guess you can say that i'm passionate for cinema, especially when Digital Filmmaking happens to be my 2nd choice for a major. I remember la...

Who knew doing pre-enrollment can be tricky.... "Conflict in selected schedule. Please try again." !!!

...Eyes that need to deviate from the screen.

Eh, only had one class today (which was PoliGov... survived yet again! XD) and there really was no reason for me to stay back and hang out in school after that except in the library and stuff. So i went straight home, but not before i accompanied Isel to the internet shop for awhile (her internet at home's not working). Then, of course, turning on the laptop when i got home, i got caught up browsing through galleries (looking for Code Geass' Kallen Black Knight outfit -- that i'll be wearing in cosplay) in DeviantArt and somehow ended up doing this: Stock image by sugargrl14 =) View my DeviantArt . it's been recently updated & more deviations will come regularly! Hehe well, it's actually time for me to do my project now, and 2 frickin' essays to write, all of which i would've done had i not got carried away by manipulating that photo =_= (oh, and looking for Silent Hill psp cheats and walk-throughs among Facebook-ing as well!) Seriously...

yeahh, mannn!

3 words: COLLEGE is AWESOME . XD!!! Charmaigne was right: "...hurry up and finish form 5 so you can go to college!"

Paid to Play.

Since I stopped going to school last month, i've been slacking like a guy who got fired from his factory job. i've been sleeping late and waking up late, that my mom (and ptr ramesh too) insist that i start helping out at my church's office/recreation centre in Wisma Yakin. i agreed happily. Nothin' better than doing what i liked doing and being paid for it. I started on the 19th. Got picked up by Mag to the office. Church laptop wasn't with me, so i had to wait for pastor to deliver it. i played with these binder clips while waiting. Anyhoo, my first assignment was to make a collage of pictures of all the stuff we did like the visits to SMARTER Org. (a school for autistic children), and the Old Folks' Home. Oh and not forgetting our contribution of refreshments to the students during last year's His Majesty's birthday celebration. Ugh, i'll have to stop here. Can't even find the rest of the pics...

The Dream Ascends...

The Expression Mega Concert was awesome last sunday night. But if you ask me, I think I still prefer the previous one in 2006. I dunno... maybe it had something to do with the venue. The first two mega concerts were held in the Empire theater, but this year in the International Convention Center (or ICC) to accommodate a larger audience. But it still isn't half as pretty as the Empire Theater's ^___^ so yeah.... Much of the performances were to promote the founder (and my first ever piano teacher back when I was 7), Lily Chiam's, debut album :) The songs were beautiful and she specially imported a singer from India to sing a few of her songs (since, i heard, the rest of her album songs are simply instrumentals) while she performed on the grand piano. Her album's producer, Richard Fowler, also sang and according to Sumi he was the same guy who also lent his voice to the album :) I haven't gotten her album yet (which btw is entitled "Together") for "lac...
