A* shares the happy fact that he's back with his girlfriend. Again. After numerous break-and-make-up's.

B* moans to me about how he hates yet misses a stuck-up b*tch (his words) he used to be tight & sweet with.

C* trusts me to keep his recent breakup a secret.

D* thanks me for something he had learned from me, that eventually helped patch things up with his girl.

E* tells me about how he's given up on her, thanks me for "helping" him anyway, and that he will endeavor to look for another girl.

...Etcetera, etcetera, but i'm stopping here.

Today's realization:

that i found it heavily ironic that my guy friends keep coming to me about their love life, even asking for advice... i mean, it's not like i've had tremendous experience or anything. Heck, i'm a member of NBSB. Then again, i've had a number of people tell me that i'm a really good listener, so maybe that's why.

Well, I always try to make it a point to listen to people. You can come to me about anything. I don't promise nor claim to be the "fixer of your problems", I won't interrupt, and I most definitely will not judge, because that's not my job to do.

But I will listen. :)

P.S. I think I keep too many people's secrets. But that's a good thing, right?

Yes, my PHILIEN prof had the whole class to write a love scene and this was what i eventually came up with.

Her criteria was basically to make her horny.

And then she said that what we write will be an indication of what makes us horny.…Well, i kinda plagiarized on this one — i tried recalling on one of those parts inTwilight which had Bella hyperventilating under Edward...

My prof will probably kill me for even having read the books. Miss, don’t fail me please??!?

ANYWAY… this isn’t anything explicit so i deemed it safe to post on here. It is required by her anyway. I cannot imagine what shenanigans and other dares she’s planning to get us into (NB: she has this habit of giggling while playfully tapping her fingers together.. x_x)

Not that i’m complaining of her unconventional methods… yet.

A Slip of Happiness

Today, i woke up at about 7.35am when my class would be at 8am. D: so i just laid there in bed thinking that if could get dressed and all in 5mins, i might still be able to make it to class just 20mins late. Unfortunately while weighing all the pros and cons, i dozed back to sleep. and awoke around 9am, just 30mins before said class would end. oh well -_____-

Sooo i finally just got up, took my time dressing and enjoying my breakfast (which i hardly do since i always rush out the door) and travelled to Vito Cruz (where my school is located) around 10.30am.

And went UKAY-UKAY shopping! \:D/

For those who don't know the term, let's just say it's the Filipino version of thrift stores.

What i bought for just 50 pesos each!

OH BUT HERE'S THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY:

By the time i paid for them, i was already sweating so i thought of cooling down at the SDA library... i saw Matt while going up the steps to the lobby and he was with his two blockmates so he intro'd me to them -- a girl named Jessica and a guy (i forgot what his name is -_-) and so this girl looked at me strangely and said, "your face looks so familiar," i studied hers, and didn't recognize anyone so she asked, "where did you live before here?" "Well, Brunei.." then she goes "OMG *insert tagalog swear words here* we lived in the same building!!!"

i was so dumbfounded by this time, thinking that she must have mistaken me for the wrong person. But suddenly it all fell into place and i practically burst out with surprise along with her too. DUDE, this girl was my long long long long time neighbour-friend several years ago (i was probably 6yrs or younger) back in Brunei!

i was like all "oh, i remember Fiona, and you both have brothers, right? We used to be playmates!" (Fiona and Steven were another pair of siblings back in the day we were all neighbours :D)

We exchanged numbers, and dang, i was so happy for the rest of the day that my classes went by like a blur. i just am glad to have run into her, it's so nice to meet long-time friends. i mean, it's also sooo amazing to think that, after many years when you no longer kept in touch with each other, suddenly find yourselves enrolled in the same college! ahhh!

This blog is not abandoned.

Yes, i'm still alive people. I know i really haven't been making any effort to update this blog and there won't be an excuse anymore (yeah, if only an invention of autosynching between our brains and computers existed) but rest assured i am still in the meantime cooking up upcoming photoblogs [even just for myself] to reminisce on the past eventful months.

Also, i've noticed through my super quick bloghopping that some of you have removed my blog from your links. That's okay though, i understand. Re-link me (or my tumblr) if you wish, but i can't promise to update frequently.

On a random note, i get a dose of giggles on my regular checking of this blog's live traffic feed :) i mean, how crazy it is to know that someone came to your blog through googling, for example, "notes for judging a british shorthair cat" orr.... haha. well i lost the link on that one. Still, there's a creepy side; i also found out that someone Yahoo!-searched my full name (see below)

*getting suspicious*

Uhh anyway.

Update school-wise:

i can't believe it's August already! a.k.a. FINALS month. i'm swamped with projects as of now. Pre-enrollment's this week too (also Benilde Week) so this means time to handpick a good sched for my classes next term! (which is, oh, next month already! *sweats) i won't be discussing scheds with any of my friends though, unless they suggest first (like Mario, for taking Basicom together.) i guess i just wanna go with the flow and be surprised with who i'll be with next term; meet new friends, you know? Not just sticking to your old ones like you're blockmates forever (of course this doesn't mean i neglect them, hehe.) Besides, i believe God puts me exactly where He wants me to be. Therefore, i deem it no accident at all to have met and will meet people in my life.

Time goes by so fast. I realized i haven't been gimmicking alot this term, so i plan to squeeze work and play by the time it ends. It is my dear friend Paula's last term here too before she goes to Australia. How we've grown close to each other in just less than a year we both consider a pure gift. i'll be sad to let her go but then again happy that she'll be living out the rest of her life's purpose, starting with Hillsong College in Australia. Wow! Going there used to be my plan if not for Philippines now...

So okay, it looks like i still got lots to do today, so before i procrastinate again... i shall publish this post now.... *click*

Scheds scheds scheds

It's online pre-enrollment week.

i managed to get a really good sched! Whoo. Studying my flowchart really helped :D

It took me a quite a while to pick the different sections and make sure that they don't collide.

So my classes for next term are basically:

ALGEB-X = College Algebra

INTECOM = Intro to Economics w/ Agrarian Reform & Taxation

PHILOMA = Philosophy of Man

FILIP13 = Retorika

RECONSE = Religion and its Contemporary Search for Self

WORLITE = World Literature

The first three are on MWF 8-11:30am.

The last three are on TTH 1-6pm.

Not bad, eh? ^___^

Bring on SchoolYear 2009-2010!!

i kinda can't wait to bully the freshmen coming in >:D

New term, new campus!

So far, the 1st week of my 2nd term was getting tedious. Heck, i already wanted the term to end on the 3rd day ;P

Here are my classes:
Dynarel = Dynamics of Religion
Comsk2 = Communication Skills 2 (postrequisite of Comsk1)
Filip12 = Filipino 2 (postrequisite of Filip11)
Insocio = Introduction to Sociology
PE-1 = Physical Education 1
Natsca = Human Factors in Design
Ordev-B = Orientation & Development of Values (postrequisite of Ordev-A)

My schedule is quite loose considering i have half-day both tuesdays and fridays (tues p.m., fri a.m.), quarter day on Monday (?? like um, until 9.10am only!) and almost 5hrs in between classes on thursdays! whew! guess i'll be doing a lot of my "homework" in school now! My wednesdays are packed, with a 3-hour Natsca class (groan...) Another downside is that my earliest class starts at 7am! while my latest class ends at almost 6pm! yikes! rush hour! =_=

The sad thing is that i kinda miss seeing my old classmates; we seriously have different schedules! i think the most i got is with Vince (Dynarel, Comsk2, Ordev-B) then Leon (Dynarel, Ordev-B), Isel (PE-1, Insocio), Inna & the gang (Natsca, Insocio) and with Chris only Ordev-B! i don't really know anyone in my Filip12 class =( and the rest of my non-SDA friends? D: D: i haven't seen them around!

And of course! There's the major shift in learning environments for me and my friends...

P.S. i just found out that a local band, Pupil, shot their music video at the SDA building sometime last year (prolly during term break, lol) cuz had i known i would've sneaked in or somethin'. Here's the video:

...they probably chose SDA because of its whiteness. and turned it into a mental asylum. LOL XD
