Gettin' Artsy...

I bought this kind of doll house last year... well it's not really a doll house but.. it's just a lovely wooden Victorian house!




















Constructed it w/ Ginny before I left for Philly... upon deciding to paint it this year. But I sooo can't decide on a colour scheme lahh... lol i was thinking of schemes like maybe the groovy Seventies? Perhaps gothic style? Or simply classic victorian.. haha... we were flipping through my dad's old house architecture mags looking for ideas. We tried test painting first tho...















We might make furnitures for the interior... hehehe...























Oh, i also did some scribbling on my old white shoes (the ones i wore in 5th grade) to jazz it up... i'd like to put some ribbons or maybe add sequins...

Am also adoring the mp4 player my bro got for me. It isn't an Apple iPod, but i'm happy with it. Thanks kuya...! i'm indebted!






















That's all for now. Next week I'll be playing with textiles! I like going to my auntie's tailor shop in town and asking for ze "leftover" materials! Then I bring home and, who knows what possibilities i can make out of them!

The Expression Mega Concert was awesome last sunday night. But if you ask me, I think I still prefer the previous one in 2006. I dunno... maybe it had something to do with the venue. The first two mega concerts were held in the Empire theater, but this year in the International Convention Center (or ICC) to accommodate a larger audience. But it still isn't half as pretty as the Empire Theater's ^___^ so yeah.... Much of the performances were to promote the founder (and my first ever piano teacher back when I was 7), Lily Chiam's, debut album :) The songs were beautiful and she specially imported a singer from India to sing a few of her songs (since, i heard, the rest of her album songs are simply instrumentals) while she performed on the grand piano. Her album's producer, Richard Fowler, also sang and according to Sumi he was the same guy who also lent his voice to the album :) I haven't gotten her album yet (which btw is entitled "Together") for "lac

La Extra-ordinaire....

Camp was awesome! This year the theme was " EXTRAORDINARY ".... and well, let that speak for itself! I went with Nosa and Osaze... a.k.a. Lah-lah and Oi-oi (long story lol!).... their driver brought us there... lol in a way coz he didn't know where Holiday Lodge Hotel at first, so we skimmed the map of BSB.... the Holiday Lodge Hotel there it said pink 13 in Jalan Jerudong, we seriously couldn't look for it... gaaahhh til finally i turned over the map and there i saw it! Lol it was gay. When we finally reached the place, instead of going into the hotel's parking lot, their driver pulled up at a house beside the hotel instead... well it's more of a real small hut actually and LOL! the irony! Their driver "Eddy" waz like, "Welcome to the Holiday Lodge Hotel!" and Osaze was like, "Well, this is a nice welcoming...." Gila!
